Snow on Hilton Head Island!
Well, it finally happened! We actually have (had) snow here on Hilton Head! This is such a rare occurance that I had to stop and enjoy the view. We have had an unusually cold winter and after much of the eastern seaboard has been slammed with snow, we have been passed by. Lots of rain, yes, but no snow. Not that I miss being snowed in. I moved to Hilton Head from the Washington, D.C. area and can say, without any doubt, I have seen enough snow!
Now, I will tell you that we have snow in this area almost every year. But, it is shipped in for the day and is gone by that evening! I have a favorite saying, "You don't sovel sunshine!".
What does snow on Hilton Head look like? Well, here it is....
