AEW Management Corporation Selects Yardi Investment Management Software to Manage $23 Billion Domestic and Asian Portfolio
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. & NEW YORK & AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands & HONG KONG & SYDNEY, Australia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Yardi Systems, the global leader in investment, asset and property management software, is pleased to announce that AEW Capital Management, LP, (AEW) one of the industry’s leading real estate investment managers, has selected Yardi Investment Management™ to manage its domestic and Asian real estate portfolio.

AEW conducted a detailed evaluation comparing offerings from Yardi Systems and competing vendors. “After a full functional comparison and review, Yardi’s fund and investment accounting functionality really made the difference in our selection,” said Jon Martin, Principal, AEW. “As long time Yardi users, we have always been happy with their approach to asset and property management,” he continued. “We were impressed with their offering for managing complex fund and partnership structures and the ability to deploy the solution globally.”

Yardi Systems is honored to include AEW in its growing list of the industry’s leading investment managers using the Investment Management solution. Alan James, Director of Global Strategic Accounts for Yardi Systems, said: “We believe it is a testament to the breadth of Yardi’s Investment Management solution that AEW chose to continue and extend their relationship with Yardi Systems. This is further confirmation that fund managers are focused on transparency in operational and investor performance to instill investor confidence. As a global market leader, AEW understands the importance of managing risk and providing superior services for their clients.”

With an implementation plan of eighteen months, AEW plans to roll out Yardi Investment Management in Singapore and throughout Southeast Asia this fall, followed by the North American portfolio in 2008. The implementation of Yardi Investment Management will replace the existing windows-based Yardi Enterprise™ system which AEW has been using since 1997, and will provide a centralized, fully-integrated global Investment Management system.
