FSBOs Can Now Use TV To Sell Their Homes
(Gardnerville, NV)Feb. 26, 2008 – A new win-win way to market “For Sale By Owner” (FSBO) homes using nationwide TV, with support provided by National Assn. of Realtors® e-Pro certified professionals is available now at www.SearchHomesOnTV.com .
Currently, FSBOs may list their properties for free with seven images; additional services include classified advertising, direct mail, brochures, lawn signage and a “how to” guide by Piper Nichole, author of “The For Sale by Owner Handbook”.
In addition, TV coverage includes a video walk-through of the FSBO home on the nationally televised show, “Search Homes on TV” and a commercial on 25 top real estate and video portals such as Google, AOL, YouTube and Yahoo.
Now, skilled National Assn. of Realtors® e-PRO certified professionals only, may list themselves on SHOTV and offer a menu of services to “For Sale By Owner” consumers.
In this way, FSBOs and REALTORS® can finally harmoniously co-exist, with FSBOs buying e-Pro PRO services on a “for hire” basis. SHOTV administers a landing page coordinating the contact between e-Pros PROs and FSBOs.
The e-PRO services will be promoted to the FSBO seller on a zip code by zip code basis, through the SHOTV “Hire a Pro” program. No more than three e-PROs can be listed per zip code on a rotation basis.
Two online realty marketing pioneers have founded the new FSBO/PRO service -- John Giaimo and Greg Johnson, who operated HomeSeekers.com, the first site to post an entire online multiple listing service database in 1995. That venture ultimately managed 60% of all US-based MLSs using the HomeSeekers online systems. Fidelity Title took ownership of HomeSeekers in 2006.
