Empower Your Agents with NAR’s ‘Right Tools, Right Now’ Program

The market is uncertain and your agents are looking for solutions. Often, they expect you to provide them. But you also have voicemails, e-mails and paperwork all piling up much more quickly than you’re able to pare them down.
As a broker, your plate is full each and every day. The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® knows this. We know that managing a business is never easy—particularly in today’s sales climate—and we understand that sometimes you probably feel as if you need a cape and an “S” on your chest just to handle everything coming your way.
NAR believes that through our “Right Tools, Right Now” initiative, we’re providing you the next best thing to support your agents.
In March, Right Tools, Right Now was launched by NAR to further support our members in this changing economy. By making nearly 300 NAR products—including publications, education, services, resources and tools—available to members for free or at cost we had one goal in mind: to make NAR’s robust roster of business-building resources more easily available by removing the financial barrier. And, such a measure would surely increase the number of members who take advantage of these tools and information.
Over the past few months, that belief has proved to be accurate, as we’re hearing great feedback from our members about how the Right Tools, Right Now initiative has helped them.
If you haven’t already taken advantage of the program yourself, or made you agents aware of this initiative, it’s not too late and it’s easy to do. All you have to do is e-mail your agents the Web link to the Right Tools, Right Now program (www.REALTOR.org/RightTools/Super). Your agents can then download scores of valuable tools from NAR to help their business. It’s that simple.
The resources offered through Right Tools, Right Now so far have already covered a wide array of categories including, Brokerage Resources, Home Buying/Selling, Commercial & Investment, Mortgages, Property Disclosure, Research Reports and more! In some cases, new services have been created and offered for free to better help members in this time.
Just one example of how the Right Tools, Right Now initiative is paying dividends recently took place in Kentucky, where one broker-associate is using the Office Guide to Going Green (downloadable for free) to help her company develop a Corporate Social Responsibility Statement and develop eco-friendly goals for the company’s offices.
In another instance, an agent in Maryland took advantage of the consumer-focused downloadable promotional letter about the Homebuyers $8,000 Tax Credit and the Save Now With the Homebuyers Tax Credit brochure, both free downloads with Right Tools, Right Now, to encourage new buyers in the area to use the First-Time Homebuyer Tax Credit.
Thanks to Right Tools, Right Now, examples such as these—and many more—are happening every day for Realtors across the country. And, each month, new resources are added to the program. So, in addition to directing your agents to the Right Tools, Right Now home page, also remind them to check back regularly to see what is new.
Right Tools, Right Now is one key example of how NAR is working to support our members during this challenging time. So, take advantage of the valuable tools offered by this program in order to help your agents—and yourself—find success.
