Charlotte, NC - Taste of Charlotte 2010

If you are new to Charlotte or have lived here for decades, it can sometimes be difficult to decide where to go for dinner.  With the growth that Charlotte has experienced the last 20 years and with the addition of Johnson & Wales University, the world of restaurants have exploded. A great way to taste your way through the many and diverse options is a festival this weekend called Taste of Charlotte.  It is held in uptown Charlotte on Tryon St from MLK Blvd to 6th St.  Admission to Taste of Charlotte is free and guests can purchase coins for their food samples and beverages.

There are 30 restaurants that are participating in this years event and well as other local and national sponsors. Click here to see the restaurants and here to see what they are serving.

Taste of Charlotte offers Entertainment for the entire family.  From live music and dancing to street performances and magic acts. Visit the Center Stage located at Trade & Tryon Streets for live entertainment all weekend - click here to see the schedule.

Festival begins on Friday at 11am and ends on Sunday afternoon.  Taste of Charlotte is a great way to sample what Charlotte restaurant's are serving.
