The bedroom communities in the Columbus area have really taken off as land becomes more valuable.  Families who want space are moving to places like Midland, Ellerslie, Cataula, and Fortson.   In these outlying areas one to two acre lots are the norm and with this really nice communities are springing up.   Following the influx of people commercial shopping complexes are beginning to take notice and are making plans to spring up as well.
