Two of the nations largest home builders are in the final steps of merging.  For the immediate area that brings me some concerns.  Currently in the Frisco Homes For Salemarket same way has 2 large developments on the West side of town.  The Landing at same way and The Vista's at Waterstone.  These are both part of the Del Webb community, and I don't believe quality will suffer for future homes.

However if the merger goes through you could see a downgrade in quality.  The same way you might have noticed when Fox Jacobs was purchased from Centex.  Some of these homes are less that 10 years old and the quality is just not there.  Centex has one development going in the Frisco Real Estate market.  I have showed their product recently and have seen some improvements, however this depends on the location the home sites are on.

I love builders, and I believe they can drive our industry in the right direction.  I just want the quality and their commitment for my clients.  After all my recommendation will either help or hinder my business.
