I love McKinney, Texas!  McKinney is located about 20 miles Northeast of Dallas.  The county seat of Collin County, McKinney has a great history and with that history comes a great Texas downtown area.  Located a couple miles East of Highway 75, downtown McKinney offers great shopping and dining, with the charm of a old downtown.

Mixing the old with the new West of Highway 75 you will find some great communities for any one's budget.  Taking Eldorado going west of Highway 75 you will find the beautiful subdivision of Eldorado.  Eldorado was built in the 80's-90's with one thing in mind "Golf".  The community offers easy access to shopping and dining, without losing the charm of tree-lined streets and safe surroundings.

Now let's head a little further West.  I am going to now bring you into a master planned community that was first being built in the late 80's, but still has new homes being built to this day.  I am of coarse speaking about Stonebridge Ranch.  Stonebridge is one of the largest subdivisions in the North Texas area.  It is like a small town all on its own.  Home prices start in the 150's to the millions.  Stonebridge offers jogging trails, multiple community pools, basketball and tennis courts, and of coarse Golf.

McKinney as been one of the fastest growing cities in the United States for several years.  However many of the area's that once had ample land are starting to fill up and home prices will increase in the next few years.
