Frisco Buying Season

Mar. 28, 2009

The Frisco Real Estate market is near take off.  With leaves on trees and blooming flowers comes the Real Estate buying season.  So, ask yourself...is it time to buy?   With interest rates the lowest in over 50 years and government incentives, why wouldn't your want to buy?

True the lenders have higher standards for conventional loans, but FHA is great for first time buyers.  Plus with the government incentives and low money down this seems to be most peoples choice.  The current loan amount for FHA is $271,000, so here in Frisco that can buy you a lot.

Warning, take care in the home's appraisal and make sure your Frisco Realtor will have the smarts to check the comps before submitting an offer.  With all of the scandal in the mortgage industry and tight restrictions you will see a tight control on the loans appraisal.

So, here is a quick checklist for the buying market.

1. Check your credit

2. Get with a qualified lender (need a referral list call us)

3. Once qualified carefully select the area of interest, and call your Realtor for showings.

4. Make sure your Realtor has the ability to get you through the buying process, he/she should be your first call for any and all issues.

5. Close the deal!
