The Countryside is coming alive with color in Waukesha and Washington County,Wisconsin (edit/delete)
Another wonderful Sunday in my area of Wisconsin. My son and I go to service at the Jerusalem Presbyterian church with all it's charm; large stain glass windows, large ceilings, open area, old world charm, and a real sense of meaning and fulfillment follows that keeps this man in perspective of what really is important in life, it's fragility, and for me, this is something that my son and I can do because it keeps us level to the Earth. Every week our wonderful Pastor gives a sermon on something that hits home. She truly has a talent for bringing out the best in people. Perhaps that was why Ronald Reagan was such a great speaker. He wrote about how much attending the service at his Presbyterian service was part of his life. Upon entering, in between, and leaving I surely now know that smiles are contagious, and what peace feels like. It would seem what I used to think was very important purely takes a back seat to what is now. Spiritual nourishment at it's best.

My son Spencer is always very polite and attentive when we go, and as all go deeds should not go without being rewarded. I always ask him what he would like to do after wards. He truly does deserve intrinsic rewards and not the voids of punishment that would have sociological roots as well.
"Well, Dad I tell you, I think we should get something to eat and go see a movie" says Spencer. From there we take a drive to the cheese factory so he can get some fresh curds, and then on to the movie theater.

Driving down the road at this time of year brings a sense of serenity that often cannot be explained. When you see the awe and wonder of what Mother nature can produce and enjoy it for a hour at a time it truly is peaceful as well.
The trees change on a daily basis, and every turn allows another beautiful landscape to appear, and just when you think it does not get any better, it does. It just is splendid in all it's majestic wonder.
The countryside is alive. An individual I have a lot of respect for in activerain and as an individual, said it best when she said " I love fall, but in a way it is bittersweet" I thought about that for the longest time as I looked at the trees and countryside and Elizabeth, you are absolutely right. It is a reminder of what is to come, and what we can look forward to one day again.

Sincerely
Tom Braatz
