2008 is finally over and I have compiled sales statistics for Stowe, Vermont.  Stowe, like other areas around the country, has been affected by the U.S. Economy.  Overall, the number of homes, condos, and land sold has decreased from the prior years.  The prices, however, have only declined slightly.  Stowe is a resort town and many properties are owned by vacation/second home owners.  The best buys at this point tend to be on homes owned by primary residents.  They tend to be more motivated sellers.

The Chart below represents all Stowe Homes Sold in 2008 as reported on our MLS system.  Most properties are entered into the MLS system.
