Thanks Troy... this will be fun and can't wait to get on with business. It will be a welcome relief (and diversion) from the last month.

H.L. Quist, the author of a book I just read called "The Aftermath of Greed- Get Ready for the coming Inflationary Boom" states that by this time next year (I was just at a seminar he gave here at our local Assoc. of REALTORS) he will be giving another lecture and he'll see some very happy faces in the crowd, unlike now. As a historical economist he sees what we are facing as just yet another cycle in the world of economics and although this one is bad, he says it always comes back and when it does we will have many less agents and much more business than the survivors can handle so we need to be read..:)

I think I have saved enough to get me by another 6-9 months if I am frugal and have a modest number of closings, but I am going to be smarter with what I do with my money this next boom cycle. I love selling Real Estate but I don't want to do it until I am 100...LOL

Troy, this year I am the Hawaii Aloha CRS Area Vice President - Big Island. I decided to start a mastermind group for Big Island CRS members. The island is very big so only half of the members could reasonably expect to attend any meeting, but the turnout was not bad. The purpose of our group was to share ideas with each other, share our successes and support, even though we are all working the same market. The openess was amazing. I'm sure this group will be successful. I look forward to being an active member. Mahalo.

What a refreshing change from the intense "venting" we've had to endure the past month. I began to wonder if anyone had noticed that the Real Estate market was tanking while all of that trash talking was going on!! I deleted most of the digests before I even read them! All I needed to see was the subject line and that was enough for me!

I look forward to being a part of this group. I feel like I need all of the help I can get at this point!
