The media has painted a daunting picture of the state of Real Estate today.  The truth is, there are many opportunities for the first time buyer, investor and the seasoned home owner.  Interest rates are low ( I can remember days of 11% rates - OK so I am dating myself a bit!)  Home prices have dropped, but hardly "plummeted" as local news would have you believe.  Real Estate continues to be a great investment and a super way to build equity for that future nest egg.

I am just starting this blog...pushing out of my box.  Please comment or offer suggestions.  I would love this forum to be open, relaxed and friendly.  I believe our best ideas come from each other.  I truly believe it is still the American dream to own a home and it should be achievable by all.
