Branson Missouri Real Estate Market Report for September 2009Oct. 5, 2009According to our local TriLakes MLS' latest information, Branson single family homes sales last month were up 50% with a total of 22 built on site homes sold. The highest priced one sold for $285,000 and the lowest priced one sold for $67,800. The median price for these homes was approximately $160,000 a good increase for us. Condo sales were down 50% with 12 units sold last month. The highest one sold for approx. $222,000 and the lowest sold for $52,500. That shows a higher median sales price in that local market too. The number of condos sold is down some but prices are showing a steady return toward a normal market. Branson Missouri Market Report for May 2009Jun. 4, 2009According to the Branson Tri-Lake MLS statistics, Branson single family homes sales last month total was 37 homes with the highest priced one selling for close to a half-million and the lowest priced one sold for $56,000. That is more homes than April and a higher medium price which shows less short-sales and foreclosure sales and more owner re-sales. Good news indeed for the Branson area Real Estate Market. There were also 14 condos that closed escrow last month and they ranged from $48,000 to $365,000 in price. These sales also were the same affect on the local market as the single family homes have been with just one less condo sold last month than March but also with a much higher median price.

That is more homes than April and a higher medium price which shows less short-sales and foreclosure sales and more owner re-sales. Good news indeed for the Stone County and Table Rock Lake area Real Estate Market. There were also 4 condos that closed escrow last month and they ranged from $250,000 to $100,000 in their selling price. Angies Deli and Bakery in Spokane is good people and good food too.Jun. 4, 2009Half way between Springfield and Branson is a out of the way stop for sandwiches and pie that opened recently in Spokane, Missouri. Located just South of the only gas station in town along US Hwy 160 South where the old gun shop used to be is Angies Deli and Bakery, home of good people, food, and pies!
We have become regulars for the Fish Fridays where you can eat all the Catfish and hushpuppies you can hold for 8 bucks, that is such a deal we hurt ourselves almost eating till way past when we should have stopped.
Angie is one fun lady to talk to and here food is mighty fun and good eatin too! All you can eat chickenfried -steak is Thursday nights and entertainment is found on Saturday nights, this week it was the local Railey Creek Boys. Get there early for good seats next to the pie and pastry counters so you get some too!

Branson Real Estate PerspectiveMar. 9, 2009The wind is blowing in from the South and the trees are starting to leaf out. Flowers are starting to show alongside the roads. Instead of snow, we get rain for weather changes, ah ha, life is sweet this time of year. March madness is going on in the Ozarks too, especially in Branson and Hollister. A couple of days ago we met some of my cousins who were vacationing in Branson, she won a bunch of show tickets at work, and eating at the buffet were three young men that were very tall. I asked them who they were playing ball for and they said Washington. College of the Ozarks is hosting the NCAA Division II Tournament right now so the average height of folks in Branson has gone up considerably. The White Bass have started upstream already and I was able to catch a few small ones, but nothing of eating size. Galena will be the host of their 2nd Annual White Bass Tournament this year on March 21st, which happens to also be when I turn the big 60.
