The newspaper reviews of this movie were quite good and I believe my expectations were enhanced. In general I found the movie good however it would have been more aptly named The Queen, Diana and Tony. It focused primarily on how the royal family dealt with the death of Diana. The portrayal of the queen was at times complimentary, causing the viewer to feel somewhat sorry for her, although most times she was viewed as cold and unemotional. Helen Mirren was very convincing as was Michael Sheen who played Tony Blair. My advise- wait for the DVD.
