Boating Safety Certificate

Anyone born after 12/31/78, MUST have a boating safety certificate to operate a personal watercraft. The boating safety certificate is only valid for persons 13 years of age or older.
The largest amount of tickets issued by the Marine Patrol are for persons operating a PWC
without a boating safety certificate.

June 16, 2007	Midway Water Sports
June 23, 2007	Eagle Lake Marina
July 14, 2007	Indian Lake Yacht Club
July 28, 2007	Cass County Conservation Club

Students may pre-register by calling the Cass County Sheriff’s Office at (269) 445-8644
or register with the administration front desk between 8 am and 5 pm.
Please have the student’s legal name, address, phone number, and date of birth
at the time of registration. Younger students who will have their 12^th birthday in 2006 may register for the class also. Adults are encouraged to attend the class as well!

All classes start at 8:00 am and should be done by 3:30 pm.

Students are required to bring a #2 pencil, a sack lunch and something to drink.

All classes are free of charge.
