Going to a website and not finding anything new can be frustrating, and a waste of your time. Not all of the changes to our site will appear on the main page, which means you'll have to click on each category to see what's new within them. Good News! With our new website technology, the capability exists to be able to send an email to you, with a link directly to the page that's been updated whenever something is new! (Although the "weather channel" updates their feed I believe every 30 minutes).. Now you won't have to wonder if there's anything new on our site - we'll let you know automatically..
Don't Get Left at the Station!
To get onto our mailing list, just simply click the "post a comment" link at the bottom of the page, and fill in your name and email address, and I'll add you to our mailing list. Don't worry, your privacy will be protected, and no-one else will see your information. For those of you who had sent in your email address with your dues, I have automatically entered you onto the list- I hope you don't mind!! If you ever want to be removed from the list, just let me know, but we'll be sad to see you go!
As far as what will be new on our site- I plan to at least put a different photo on the main page (which will appear at the top of all the pages) every Sunday; the rest of the content changes will appear as they happen as quickly as I can post them. If something doesn't look new, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "comments' link- someone may have posted a comment. Just a note, I need to approve all comments, so don't worry if you don't see your comment appear right away. If your just sending your contact info, it won't appear as a comment; You'll just be added to the mailing list.
I'm not a Shavehead Lake resident, but would like to be added to your list just to get some ideas to improve my association. I am president of the Gravel Lake Association (check us out at www.gravellake.org). You've got one of the best websites for a lake in our area. Nice work!
