Outer Banks Magic

The Magic Is Here Until August 28th. . . .

The Outer Banks is known for its magic - the magical landscapes, sunrises and sunsets, the magical memories made by our guests who visit our beach community each year. But this year, there is a new type of magic on the Outer Banks. . . OBXtreme Magic.Audiences this summer have been delighted with the Outer Banks' newest magic and illusion show at the Clarion Oceanfront Hotel in Kill Devil Hills. OBXtreme Magic features Clive and Tracy Housley in mind reading card tricks, floating illusions, quick clothes changing acts and unbelievable tricks.

Three shows are performed Wednesdays and Thursdays weekly until August 28, 2008 (except the week of August 4-8, 2008 when the show will be held on Thursday, August 7 & Friday August 8th. Same times - 4, 7 & 10 pm) . The 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm showtimes are family friendly and feature mind-blowing illusions, unforgettable magic and comedy audience participation. Watch an audience member float, see things disappear, watch Tracy escape from a straightjacket, and learn a few tricks to show your family and friends. Tickets for the family show are $13 for children, $20 for adults and $18 for Senior Citizens.

The 10:00 pm show is for adults 18 years of age or older. Specifically aimed at a more mature audience, this version of the show features suggestive comedy, bizarre side show acts, card tricks, and mind-blowing illusions. Tickets for the Mad Jack adult show are $25.

Witness the impossible as world renowned illusionists Clive Allen and Tracy present OBXtreme Magic! See people appear and disappear in the blink of an eye and watch in amazment as a child from the audience floats in mid air. There are no camera tricks, this is live! Wednessdays and Thursdays through Aug. 28. 4:00 & 7:00 at the Clarion Oceanfront Hotel, M.P. 9.5 Beach Road.

The Outer Banks is a great place to go, my husband and I rode from Myrtle Beach on our moor cycles which took most of the day as we arrived the sun had just set, and the smell of the ocean made a perfect end to yet another perfect day. We passed through many small fishing villages and met many of the local people all with friendly faces. The Outer Banks is a must see vacation spot.
