1. RE: "The Moving Wall." Pictures of Memorial wall to our fallen soldiers. Cost of Freedom exhibit at Ocean Shores, Washington
On this day every single year I can't help but think of both my grandfathers that served in WW2. One Perry Holmes, I never even met. The most I know of him is he was in the Navy. My other grandfather was William Kreed Sheppard. He came home and died when I was eight years old in 1988. The funeral of my grandfather was "at such an early age" the most amazing, and life changeing experience of my life. Even at 8 years old, I was so proud to be and American at the moment the gunfire rang . And it was my introduction to death. Thank you to my grandfathers, for being able to sit here today and write this message. Thanks to all the grandfathers, and fathers. We love you all and one day I will thank you in person.
Happy Veterans Day
