Join us for the 31st Annual Fine Arts and Photography Show, Ocean Shores, WA April 3-5, 2009!

Artists and photographers from all over the US enter this show to win prizes and show their unique photos and works of arts.  Cash prizes, plaques and ribbons will be awarded to winners.  Categories include: Pets, Digital Artistry, Abstract, Seascape/Maritime, Wildlife/Birds, Miscellaneous, Landscape, People, Flora, Still Life, Architecture and Ocean Shores.  Awards will be given for Best in Show, 2nd Best in Show, 3rd Best in Show, People's Choice, Best of Ocean Shores and Youth awards. 

This year Associated Arts of Ocean Shores is pleased to have Sue Bennett as our judge for the 2009 Fine Art Show. Ms. Bennett has been on the teaching staff at Central Oregon Community College, is a workshop instructor and co-founder of Art in the Mountains. Her mediums include oil and watercolor. Her paintings are portrayed with simplicity of shape and rich colors. While making a painting, Bennett gets very involved with the medium. She says, "I paint in both watercolor and oil to express beauty, mood and heart. I want to be emotionally caught up in the subject from start to finish and like it best when I am slightly surprised by the end result."

Both Photography show and Fine Arts show will be at the Ocean Shores Convention Center located at W Chance A La Mer.
