• Jan. 31, 2008 - Who in the World can Resist a Yard Sale?

Who in the world doesn’t love a yard sale?  Well how about a yard sale that stretches across GA from Perry at I-75 all the way to Brunswick and I-95? On the weekend of March 14th thru the March 16th, the Golden Isles Parkway is the place to be. This is a grand opportunity to experience Southern hospitality in several Georgian communities and along the way meet some new friends. Please go to www.goldenislesparkway.com and read about this annual event held in the glorious Spring weather.

And you know I hope you’ll touch in with me when you get to Glynn County!

• Jan. 22, 2008 - Brunswick, GA should be getting a 4-Year State College!

Exciting plans are in the works for the 2-year program at the Coastal GA Community College in Brunswick, GA to be transformed into a 4-year state college. Currently the college offers its 3,000 students 3 associate degrees. There is a possibility of developing student housing and increasing the 193-acre campus to at least double the current student population. The hope is to enroll the first junior student in Fall, 2009 or the beginning of 2010.

Keep your eye on us here in this wonderful part of the world, we’re still growing in the Golden Isles of GA!

• Jan. 18, 2008 - Consider this a Friendly Nudge!

Certainly I do not have a crystal ball or a prophet on staff, but do firmly believe that we have reached the “bottom” of the real estate pricing. If you have been holding back and waiting for the perfect time to purchase a home, don’t wait any longer. Allow me to repeat: “Take advantage of the price reductions and the abundance of wonderful inventory and do it NOW.” I feel I would be negligent if I did not communicate this to you as I feel very strongly that the best time to buy real estate is today.
