Beach Party Fun! 

Beachcomber Properties sponsored an end of summer beach party at the Coast Guard Station.  Although the weather had been EXTREMELY hot the previous few days, the day of our party was perfect with a nice sea breeze contributing to our comfort.  We did have a couple of tents to protect us from the sun, and I think that everyone had fun!  This was a great opportunity for people to meet and greet new friends and neighbors.

We live in a wonderful area with resources we often take for granted.  The beach at the Coast Guard Station affords us a wonderful opportunity to throw up a tent, haul in some food, and have fun!  Did I forget to mention that there is lots of (free) parking and trash receptacles?  Maybe you can join us next year!

Show your Patriotism!

In just several days we will all remember that unspeakable day of 9/11/01.  In the days, weeks & months following that terrible event, our nation showed our shock and solidarity against terrorism by displaying the flag.  I challenge every home, business and office to show the nation's colors in honor of the lives lost on 9/11 and for the families who haver lost a loved one in the fight abroad to preserve freedom.  Whether or not we support the war effort we support our troops and appreciate their sacrifice.  Our American flag is the symbol of our patriotism and unity and I hope we never forget who we are.

If you do not already have an American Flag, I sincerely hope you will make every effort to obtain one by 9/11/07.
