Has anyone developed their website for the iPhone?
If so what steps did you take to make your website iPhone friendly?
-Brian
Brian asked,
"Has anyone developed their website for the iPhone?"
It really isn't necessary to do anything special to display your website on an iPhone to your visitors since they will be seeing the site in Safari, a perfectly wonderful web browser. The only caveat to that is that the iPhone does not include a Flash player. So if you really want to give your visitor a wonderful experience, as the site owner, you need to offer a background image to display where the Flash movie might be playing on top.
For example, www.dcmetroagents.com offers a Flash "slide show" on the Home page, but it also offers a static background image behind it for those who don't have a Flash player installed on their computer OR might be seeing it on their iPhone. Take a look first on your computer and then take a look at the same site on your iPhone.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Yes, Safari is a complete browser however the iPhone has a very small screen that makes a traditional website difficult to navigate. If you go to cnn.com on the iPhone the website is a mobile page that is designed for easy navigation on a small devices.
Hey Brian
Your response to win is understandable and accurate in many ways.
To make your website iPhone friendly it'll be total re-design of the site which I am not aware of any company providing as of yet. If you have found one please let me know.
Warm wishes
