Does anyone use Microsoft Outlook on their iPhone?
I am trying to talk my Dad into buying an iPhone. His main concern is the ability to access his work Microsoft Outlook email through the phone. Is anyone doing this? If so, how?

Thanks,

If he needs to access work emails via Microsoft Exchange - yes it works. If he needs to access emails off the home computer, it can be done - but he'll have to set them both up so that copies are left on the server (that way each one can access the email that's there).

Do you use the ActiveSync program to do this?

I sync my outlook to my iphone for the address book, calendar and everything. I also get my email on my iphone and in my outlook. You can set it up using pop or imap. I use imap as then if I delete it in one spot, it deletes it everywhere, and it does not download anything unless I tell it to so I can access it from everywhere. I used to have a blackberry, and liked that too, the iphone works the same with outlook.

You do not have to use sync to get email. By using imap you do not have to tell it to save it on the server either. You can set up your email similar to how you set it up in outlook by adding an account on your iphone. Go into settings and then under mail, contacts and calendars. Then add an account.

Thanks, Peggy :) I just ordered Outlook with business contact manager and am excited to get it going. I'll have to set it up with my iPhone when I get everything up and running.

Hi all,

I am prabably a rookie at this and all of you might laugh at me. But I am trying to stop my top producer database and am trying to start outlook. I have bot the outlook2007 and business. but I do not know anything at all on how to use them and have them sync with my google and iphone. I need to start from scratch. Please can anyone give me a step by step guidance? Maybe you can guide me thru my email address at lavinasamtani@mris.com.

Thanks in advance.
