What is the opposite of success?  It would be apparent that the opposite of success is failure.  But it is not.
Nearly all successful people have failed miserably, often many times.  Success arose from the knowledge and experience derived from their failures. 
The opposite of success is giving up. 
Earl Nightengale, the famous motivator, said, “Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal” 
This is a wonderful and perfectly accurate thought.
