Plans are underway for a smashing time for real estate bloggers at the first Inman Blogger Connect that we talked about here last month. I met with a host of other bloggers and Inman News Managing Editor Jessica Swesey earlier this week in a brainstorming and planning session. There will be some great panel discussions and activities. One of the highlights of the conference will be announcement of the winner of a "Project Blogger" contest sponsored by ActiveRain that couples blogging novices with coaches. Contest prelims commence Monday and the contest swings into full gear early next month. I've signed on as a blog coach entrant in the contest with RealTown Blog Apprentice Mary Pope-Handy of Silicon Valley real estate fame. Mary is the author of a great piece in RealTown,"Haunted Real Estate: A Primer for Real Estate Agents." I'll have more details about the contest next week.
