Questions about switching away from Advanced Acccess?

Recently I wrote an FAQ post at titled "Switching to a real estate webmasters website from Advanced Access" to save myself the time of answering the same questions over and over again regarding Advanced Access websites. I have to admit I was surprised at the amount of PM's and emails thanking me for providing the answers many were looking for. AA you might want to take notice here, you seem to have some very unhappy customers. You may have many happy customers as well who are quite content over at Advanced Access, if this is you - then the rest of this entry probably will not interest.

For those of you that ARE thinking about leaving advanced access website platform for another vendor, I hope my blog post linked at the top of this blog helps you.

Some questions answered: (The questions are real estate webmasters specific, but my apply to other vendors as well)

Q: My Advanced Access website ranks well in search engines, if I switch to Real Estate Webmasters will I loose my rankings?

Q: What about my internal Advanced Access pages that have links pointing to them, do I loose the benefit of these links?

Q: On my old Advanced Access website my internal pages loaded in framesets, do real estate webmasters websites load in framesets?

Q: My current Advanced Access website creates URL's such as /Nav.aspx/Page=%2fPageManager%2fDefault.aspx what kind of control over the filenames will I have in your system.

Q: Do I have to know HTML or pay you to update my content?

Answers to those questions and many more are provided here - I have not posted them directly to this entry, as I do not want duplicate content issues to arise.

If there are those of you who have other questions / concerns by all means ask away, either here, at my REW Blog, via email whatever. I am happy to assist you in making an educated decision regarding your future web platform, be it Real Estate Webmasters, or some other vendor.
