Crist: Floridians Should Urge Friends To Buy Real Estate
Gov. Charlie Crist says residents of the Sunshine State should urge their friends in the chilly north to buy Florida real estate.
The governor told Floridians attending a town hall meeting in Kissimmee on Monday that now is the best time in years to buy Florida real estate, provided you can get a loan. Real estate taxes are going down, as is insurance. The governor, somewhat tongue-in-cheek, told the residents at the town hall meeting to spread the news to friends in freezing weather up north.
The governor answered questions about property taxes, growth and a commuter rail from the 250 residents at the town hall meeting.
