Aug. 30, 2006 - Gracie and Grammy day
I had the best day today! I spent half the day with my granddaughter Gracie! As usual I took some new pics of her. She can sit by herslf now and she says "da da" I thnk she says"mama" and "baba" and I heard her say "bella" that's there golden retriever. Every week it's something new with this little punkin! One of her grampa Rick's New riders blog friends sent her a tie dye hat, she said"every baby needs a tie dye hat"! so I gave it to her today and she loved it! So I took pics. I also gave her a cabbage patch doll that my mom sent her. Her name is "Terry Cassidy" and Gracie just loved her! I have pics for that too.

Aug. 27, 2006 - My jewelry site is up!
My new jewelry website is up but still under construction, with a few creations to view and many more to come. I took pictures of all my pieces yesterday, for the second time, because the first ones were too glary. Man is that a chore! You have to take them just right and then the pictures don't do justice to the piece. I may need to go to the old cannon AE1 rather than digital. I don't know. This website building is sooo time consuming. I spent hours on it today and was able to get only about 7 or 8 items. All in all I am very excited about it. I went to a gem fair this weekend and bought a few beads to play with. It kinda gave me a jump start for the upcoming holidays and the craft shows I will be displaying my wares. Aug. 24, 2006 - The Joy of My Life
This little girl is my granddaughter ! She has brought so much joy into my life, it's undescribable! Her name is Grace and God has blessed us with a very special, adorable little "punkin". Of course I will be sharing pics here and there of her, well, because I just can't get enough of looking at that sweet face.

Aug. 24, 2006 - WELCOME TO MY BLOG!!
Welcome! I hope to have this up and running soon! My plan is to share with you some of my creations. This "little" hobbie of mine has kept me somewhat sane since I joined the many women of the world who belong to the "Empty Nest Syndrome, Club". Who'd have thought it lasts so long! My youngset son moved out 3 years ago for goodness sake! Anyway, I took up Jewelry designing at that time and it truly has been very therapeutic, a few extra bucks is a plus of course, but so far I have'nt made it to the big leagues, yet.
I say "little" sarcastically because if you ask my family I bet they would laugh hysterically due to the fact I have an entire room full of my beading paraphanalia and I migrate into the living room often. Oh well, such is life!
This blogging thing is new to me, old hat to my husband "The Coolest NRPS Site" (Link on the right) and his brother "The Best NRPS Blog" (link on the right also) they are the "blogger" ? "blogging" ? Kings! My husband is on his EVERY DAY!!! I guess that's what makes you a king!
