After crunching the Prince William County real estate market statistics for the period of January through June 2007 I come up with the following averages.
Average Active Listings: 5383
Average New Listings: 1742
Average Homes Sold: 463
Average Under Contract: 365
Average Contingent: 177
Average List Price of Homes Sold: $422,798
Average Days on Market: 122

Jul. 18, 2007 - Prince William County Real Estate Market Statistics for June 07
This month we had an increase in Active listings from 6199 in May to 6537 this month while new listings fell to 1772 from 1943. The number of properties Under Contract decreased from 373 last month to 318 this month while the number of Contingent properties slightly increased to 198 from 190 last month. The Actual List Price average for homes Sold dropped significantly this month to $402,031 from $420,481 last month. The Days on Market average for homes sold fell from 115 last month to 106 this month while the number of housing units Sold increased to 511 from 489 last month.

Jun. 12, 2007 - Prince William County Real Estate Market Statistics for May 2007
This month we had an increase in Active listings from 5770 in April to 6199 this month while new listings also surged to 1943 from 1921. The number of properties Under Contract inceased slightly from 370 last month to 373 this month while the number of Contingent properties also increased to 190 from 160 last month. The Actual List Price average for homes Sold dropped slightly this month to $420,481 from $422,083 last month. The Days on Market average for homes sold decreased slightly from 121 last month to 115 this month while the number of housing units Sold increased to 489 from 477 last month.

This month we had an increase in Active listings from 5137 in March to 5770 this month while new listings slid to 1921 from 2004. The number of properties Under Contract declined slightly from 386 last month to 370 this month while the number of Contingent properties also decreased slightly to 160 from 187 last month. The Actual List Price average for homes Sold dropped slightly this month to $422,083 from $424,847 last month. The Days on Market average for homes sold decreased slightly from 135 last month to 121 this month while the number of housing units Sold increased slightly to 477 from 471 last month.

This month we had an increase in Active listings from 4436 in February to 5137 this month while new listings soared to 2004 from 1320. The number of properties Under Contract moved slightly from 374 last month to 386 this month while the number of Contingent properties also increased slightly to 187 from 162 last month. The Actual List Price average for homes Sold dropped slightly this month to $424,847 from $429,074 last month. The Days on Market average for homes sold increased slightly from 129 last month to 135 this month while the number of housing units Sold surged to 471 from 405 last month.
