This is my first blog.  Please excuse me if I appear stupid.  I am sure you all started out this way too.  

It isn't easy trying to learn new things and caring my mother at the same time.  I thought staying home today to try to complete the E Pro course would be a good way to kill two birds with one stone....take care of my mother who is sick in bed with a horrible cold AND study to finish the E-Pro course.  So far, I am amazed at the progress I have made today, actually.  i am just a "hair" away from finishing.  

My dear but very feisty mother started living with me and my husband 4 years ago after suffering from two strokes.  It has been a tremendous challenge.  Anyone who has taken care of an aging parent knows exactly what I am talking about.  I know that there are many people out there just like me going thru the same challenges.  The fact that, in spite of it all, I have maintained a position with my company as top agent for all three offices since the beginning of this year NEVER ceases to amaze me under the circumstances.  I think it must be good Karma.. OR, it just might be the fact that I work my butt off 6 + days a week to make it happen.  I don't know.  Maybe it's a combination of the two.   

All in all, I am thankful that I have this time with my mother, and wouldn't change a thing, however,  learning how to manage a busy professional life with my personal needs is the course I REALLY need to take.
