Coming up next weekend is one of the biggest wine festivals in the state, Colorado Mountain Wine Fest in Palisade, CO.  The festival runs September 19th through 21st.  The Festival in the Park is Saturday from 10:30 to 5:00 p.m.

If you know nothing about Colorado wines or are just a fan, this is definitely a trek to make. Over 45 wineries participate every year.

Colorado has been producing great wines for many years.  The Western Slope (around Grand Junction) is like a mini Napa Valley.  Grape vines can be seen from 1-70 creeping up the sides of the hills.
