There are so many ways other than as a Realtor to make money in Real Estate. Below are just a few, and I ask others to add to it as well. I ask of others to not just add short headings, but elaborate some to provide tips for others. 1. Income producing property - My preference is to focus primarily on the measurement "cash on cash". Other measurement tools are Net Operating Income (NOI), Return on Investment (ROI), & Capitalization Rate (CAP). Multi-unit buildings are nice because you can spread your risk among multiple tenants. 2. Vertically integrating - One can earn income as a Realtor, as a loan officer, and as a property manager on the same property. 3. Flipping homes - This was really popular before the Housing market came to a slow crawl. What are your preferred ways to make $$$ in Real Estate?
