After spending three years researching North Georgia, my husband Jody, and I decided that Ellijay and Gilmer County was the place for us.  Along with the move, I decided to leave my past in the medical profession and move in a new direction.  Health Care demands attention to detail, analysis of your clients needs, in depth knowledge of your subject, awareness of multiple subjects that may affect your goals, empathy for your client, and most important, getting it right.  I thought if I could do the same in Real Estate, I would have a great business.  My first goal was knowledge of the business.  Real Estate agents are required to have 24 hours of continuing education every 4 years.  In the last three years, I have accumulated 180 hours and two Certifications, both GRI and e-PRO.  With over 15,000 listings in our North Georgia area, I have to confess, I don't know them all.  But I do, do my best to keep up with as many properties in the area as I can. 
For the Buyer, the most important thing an agent does is to listen and understand to what you, the client wants and help you find your perfect property and get you to a successful closing.  That's my goal. 
For the Seller, my goal is to present the real market value of your property to you and help you show and market that property in the best possible light to obtain the best price for you.
