Sandi Pfister

I have been a resident in the beach communities of Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach, California since 1979 and a licensed real estate agent and REALTOR since 1989, (Lucky for me I was transferred by a previous employer to California!)

I have been a member of the South Bay Association of REALTORS' Local Government Relations/Government Affairs Committees since the day I joined the Association (and Chaired it a number of years) so I'm always involved in the local political scene. I've also served on and chaired almost every Committee at the local Association as well as serving as President in 2000 so I proactively have chosen to be part of the solution. But involvement doesn't stop at the local level: I also serve as a Director of the California Association of REALTORS and as a Director of the National Association of REALTORS. In 2005 I chaired the California AOR Issues Mobilization Political Action Trustees and received the Outstanding Committee Chair Award.

Our communities are attractive for many reasons: the weather, clean air, great public schools, the beach, employment opportunities in aerospace and the entertaiment industry, and great quality of life. Although Southern California is not known as an 'affordable' area, there are many opportunities for the first-time home buyer, the investor, move-up buyers and renters.
