Ruth M. Sanford

Although I grew up in New England, I lived in several states and Germany.  I traveled extensively, learned many cultures and am able to read, write and speak German.  We are a military family and are accustomed to relocationing every few years.  My personal moving experiences continue to serve me well as a Realtor.  I am able to understand my client's frustrations when they are buying or selling a home.

 I became a licensed realtor in 1977and left the business 1980 when mortgage interest rates rose over 19%.   When we returned to our beloved  America in 2000, I resumed the profession I enjoyed the most.  As a Realtor, I take great personal and professional pride in providing home buyers and sellers with information they need to make wise decisions before undertaking the most imposing transaction of their lifetime, the purchase of a home.   

My strength is real estate relocation, marketing, communication and win-win negotiation.   

We are currently living in Virginia, temporarily.  Our Maryland home was seriously damaged earlier this year and is currently being reconstructed. Maryland is my primary market and home!  I will add Virginia to my marketplace as soon as I can make the time to get my Virginia license renewed.
