My Name is Rick Borden - I am the proud owner of BigSandyLake.com Realty.

I am a second generation Realtor/Broker in the Borden family lines our son Jamie Borden is 3rd generation Realtor. As you can see the tradition of Realtors in our family runs deep in the blood lines and that is why we take this profession so seriously. I remember my uncle Richard D Borden - Broker of Borden Realtors in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. later to go on to be Century 21 Borden Realtors inspired me to do several things in my life that I have gone and done and I owe most of it to him.

When I was a young boy at the age of 6 years he introduce me and my family to Big Sandy Lake up in McGregor Minnesota, Dick had a place in Davis Bay and this is were I fell in love with the area. It wasn't until I was an adult did I realize I was back in the area were I had so many good times as a child. A long story short we now live in McGregor Minnesota and I have a Lake home on Big Sandy Lake in Billhorn Bay. I own and opperate my own Real Estate Company with my Wife Leane.

My Uncle Dick Borden instilled in me as a young man getting into the business that if you allways tell the truth..... You will never have to remember what you said to anyone!! He also taught me to look a person in the eyes and to shake a mans hand with a firm grip.

I live work and play on Big Sandy Lake and I enjoy this area very much it has so much to offer from Golfing at Minnesota National Golf Course to fishing one of many lakes in the area to recreational 4 wheeling and snowmobiling, Bird watching is some of the best in the state of Minnesota.

McGregor Minnesota is located in Aitkin County and 54 % of Aitkin County is either water or public land this is why this area is so great for fishing and hunting it is the perfect play ground for the outdoors person looking to buy Real Etstate and it is all in my neighborhood.
