Philip from Lubbock

Philip Schoewe's real estate career spans 3 decades beginning in 1977. Philip holds Texas Professional Licences in law, real estate brokerage and mortgage brokerage. He is also licensed in real estate brokerage in Oklahoma and New Mexico.  The Texas Real Estate Teachers Association (TRETA) awarded him the CREI (Certified Real Estate Instructor) in the 1990s.  He now instructs the CREI basic and advanced workshops for the Texas CREI Program.  The internationally acknowledged Real Estate Educators Association (REEA) awarded Philip the DREI (Distinguished Real Estate Instructor) in the 1990s. Since that award, Philip has served the DREI Program as a presentation reviewer and is an Instructor for the IAP Pre-Exam Session.  Philip serves as the REEA President  from July 1, 2009 though June 30, 2010; he was President of TRETA in years 2006-07; he was President of SCEG (South Central Educators Group) in years 2005-06; he teaches technology workshops for TRETA and SCEG. Philip Schoewe believes that each teachable moment leads to the eventual betterment of service level skill sets delivered by salespersons to the real estate consumer.  Since 1981 Philip has been involved in education and training and currently teaches throughout the spectrum from basic core pre-licensure in Texas up to and with the skill set of teaching adults to teach other adults in the REEA DREI Program where GAPE (Generally Accepted Principles of Education) underscores the value of learning to learn from each other how  to teach one another at the adult level.  A great supporter of college level education for real estate practitioners, Philip Schoewe believes nonetheless that a great portion of what encompasses successful real estate sales is learned 'solvitur ambulando' - by walking through the experience of selling real estate in order to solve problems discovered during the learning process.  This belief underscores Philip's continuum in his own education demonstrated by several dozen certification/designations for which he is also an instructor for several of them.  You can contact him at (806) 239-5559 or pschoewe@flash.net
