Tamra J Trainer

Tamra J Trainer was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica.  Upon completion of high school at “Hillel Academy” she moved to Toronto, Canada where she opened up an Import/Export company with her father at the age of 19.  Although Tamra experienced great success with her newly founded company, she watched her friends that were in the real estate business with envy saying to herself “one day, I’m going to become a very successful real estate agent.”  Tamra didn’t have time to follow through with her dreams as she went to Las Vegas with a group of girlfriends for a week of fun and met her future husband never returning home to Toronto.  While married, she opened up and ran a pool hall that was such a success they received an offer to buy it and selling it in 1993.  Tamra’s mother-in-law, Caren Petrella was a successful residential and commercial real estate broker in Las Vegas at the time with over 35years of experience so when Tamra asked her to show her the ropes, she happily obliged.  Since then, Tamra has never looked back.  Now a single mother of a 14 yr. old son, what Tamra has accomplished in real estate career will impress anyone.  Her philosophy was always been to take the path of least resistance, so that is why she always sold properties that a lot of agents were not very familiar with.  Tamra started a foreclosure division for a nationally recognized company after just one year in the business, then she went on to sell high rise properties one floor at a time.  After selling $30 million in one year and landing the sales & marketing for close to a $1billion project, she knew it was time to start her own firm.  That was when she formed  “Vertical Realty.”  

Now Tamra has closed over $100 million in Las Vegas High rise properties to date, and still counting!
