About Me

Where to start...

Well, as with any other online form of communication when it comes to "me," I really don't have much to say.  Either that or I'm just plain not good at writing about myself.  I am a good old fashioned red blooded American Man I guess... God, Country, Family, etc...  I enjoy hunting, fishing and anything out of doors and love to just sit and relax with my family.

In a more professional setting...

I love my career in Real Estate!  I love anything having to do with Real Estate from all aspects of residential housing, for folks moving in, to residential investments.  I'm fairly new to the game of Real Estate and don't have a bunch of education and acronyms behind my name yet being a full time Realtor for only 1.5 years now but love the game none the less!  When it comes to putting people in houses and finding what they need I will not rest until the right property is found.  I guess, though, I may not have all the fancy credentials behind my name, you might call me a master of common sense.  If a person tells me something they want and what the expect to pay for it I find it... it's that simple.  Obviously, if they're expectations on anything from pricing to location for a particular property are outlandish then I will advise them accordingly.  We don't want someone moving into a home next to a garbage dump and expecting to make a ton of money back from their investments a year down the road!  :::smiles:::

Before I was a Realtor...

Well, lets see, where to start here...  I've grown up in Idaho Falls, ID my entire life of 34 years now and have seen weather changes, geographical changes, demographical changes, housing changes and changes to the hunting regulations!  Aside from all this change, though, much has also stayed the same...  Idaho Falls is a great place to live!  For one, you can still leave your doors unlocked at night on both your house and vehicles and not go into a panic when you realize you forgot them.  The schools are good for the kids to learn, the air is clean for the lungs to breath and the local community of people is, for the most part, very helpful and kind.  With all this, I've had a pretty darned good life!  One not worth complaining about!  I did the same things most people did throughout my life as a kid, young adult, and now as an adult.  I got into trouble with my mom for toilet papering houses, I got awards for being a good athlete and now I strive to better my family in all regards.

As for my employment...

I've done everything from loading trucks for the local branch of the United Parcel Service to the Study of Geology and Earth Sciences at the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID for 4 years.  My last full time career and the career that was shared with Real Estate and being a Realtor for 7 years was me being an Law Enforcement Officer for the County.  After a divorce and several bottles of Prozac I decided I needed to move on to something more positive in nature!  :::smiles:::

About my character...

There's really only two things that I can think of here...

I'm an honest guy with integrity in what I do.  If I say I'm going to do something I do it.  I'll never false personify myself.  You know who I am from the first meeting... like me or not.

Technology Fanatic!

Just a small town guy from Idaho Falls, ID... well, it used to be what I consider a small town! Now I can say I used to hunt deer where the 10 year old subdivision on the hill is located! Anyway, one of my most enjoyed topics of interest is mobile technology. I personally feel that our lives will change dramatically through this particular area of technology over the next 5 - 10 years and that it will be an ever growing necessity for business people. It is for this reason that I've started Blogging and who knows where it'll end up! You know what they say, "The best way to learn is through teaching!" Anyway, if you have any questions regarding your phone or your computer I'd be glad to take a chop at helping you out or at least pointing you in the direction of helping you out. I've had many people tell me that I am a little short on knowledge. I would be, however, the first to tell them that I may be a little short on Knowledge but I've got an awful lot of Wisdom! My definition... Knowledge is the data already stored in the melon a top our shoulders and Wisdom is knowing where to find the data to be stored! In example, if you don't know how to spell... get a spell checker, if you don't know math... take a math class, if you don't know how to use your computer or mobile technology... give me a try! :o) Have a great day!
