Putnam County is located in Northeast Florida, very close to Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Daytona Beach, and Gainesville. Far enough away from the big city, but close enough to get to easily. I am a Florida native and am very familiar with this part of Florida where I grew up. Its my home and I love it! Our area is surrounded by fresh water lakes and the Historic St. Johns River, which is one of the few rivers that flow north. The best fishing in the world! Palatka and Putnam County, where I am located, is the "Bass Capital" of the world, which means Trophy Bass just waiting for you!
