Marilyn recently judged the 2008 - 10th Annual Marilyn Farber Jacobs Poetry Contest, sponsored by the Poetry Protocol Syndicate, a division of the North Tulsa Literary Guild, of which she is a lifetime member.  Her poems and bio have been published nationally and internationally. The Amateur Poetry Journal published her haiku poems online. Marilyn´s fund raising experience encompasses the Children's Service League of Westchester (of which she is a Past President), Boston University (as Head of the Parents Committee), and the New Rochelle Opera Company (of which she is a former Board Member).  She has attended Syracuse University, SUNY Purchase, NYU (Certified in Internet Technologies) and Riverdale Country Day School.
 
Her front page interviews and articles have been featured in Spotlight, an upscale newsletter that is mailed to gated golfing communities in the Palm Beach County area, and she has done several years of volunteer public relations and publicity work for the Center for Lifetime Learning at Palm Beach Community College in Lake Worth.

Marilyn received the Mental Health Association of Westchester's Award for Community Leadership.  The MHA gave a dinner in her honor that was attended by about 400 people. Marilyn was interviewed for "The Important Florida Personalities Series," presented by The Palm Beach Community College.

Her children and grandchildren live in Boca Raton, and she is a frequent visitor.  Chutney, Marilyn´s Bengal cat, is five generations from a baby leopard and is the subject of several of her internationally published poems and short stories.  Marilyn´s travels provide topics for her Travelogs. Other interests include computers, antiques, volunteer work in her community, and Marilyn enjoys reading, networking, socializing and internet browsing.

Born in Brooklyn, Marilyn spent most of her growing and adult years in New Rochelle, New York, fourteen years in Manhattan and has lived in Boca Raton for the past eight years.  Her goal is to present solutions, consult with, and advise all of her clients, with discretion and confidentiality, regarding a variety of services that can help to improve their lives.
