About Me
Hey, I am doing fine and hope you are too!
I completed a "crash" real estate license week long training course last December (2006) just prior to Christmas - it was intense. I passed and received my state's Real Estate Associate Sales License January 4th. I signed on with Coldwell Banker Primus Realty and completed their Fast Start Program in March. In February I started class on Real Estate Appraisal licensing. In May I completed the state educational requirements for taking the real estate appraisal license examination. I applied for and received the state's licensing test eligibility certificate. I am still equivocating on whether to pursue a Real Estate Appraisal License. In May I began training for a Real Estate Broker License which I obtained In July. In October I completed the Seniors Real Estate Specialist course (yes, I am a Senior) and received my SRES certification/designation. In September I began the e-PRO training and I am still in it's beginning stage. Yes I agree with what you are probably thinking - it seems like I have been doing a lot of training and little real estate business. How true!
November of 2006 I "retired" (no pension) from the High Technology Information Services business field after 30+ years in it's Field Services Delivery section. I had risen to VP level for the Midwest/Central Region that at one time had 699 team members and (at a different time) reached $72 million in annual revenue at better than a 50% operating margin while providing field service delivery to over 3,000 customers.
Residential real estate support is a service business so I feel very comfortable with the personal client interaction. I think of myself more as a support provider for my clients than a sales person.
