Lawrence Chatt

I was born and raised in Rochester, NY. I started my career in corporate America at a fairly early age of 18-19 with Eastman Kodak. I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. In my first career wihin corporate America I focused on Manufacturing Leadership. Through out my career I held most manufacturing positions up until reaching mid-executive leadership status with a Fortune 500 company. Locations I have called home until now include, Youngstown, OH, Warren, OH, Cleveland, OH, Burlington, IA, Monterrey, Mexico, Boulder, CO, Budapest, Hungary, and Bristol, RI. My final role in Corporate America led to turning around a manufacturing plant from an unprofitable status to the second most profitable plant in the Division.
After the birth of my son, Grayson, my wife and I reevaluated what was important and made the decision in 2005 to retire from Corporate America. I moved to Anna Maria Island, FL where I had previously invested in Real Estate. Here at Island Real Estate I focused my leadership aiding their vacation rental business unit and have since earned my Real Estate license in the State of Florida. I plan to begin to utilize my knowledge of my personal investment property along with my vacation rental experience to offer a very specialized Real Estate experience for absentee owners that wish to invest in the area. Personally I am rarely happy with my efforts and truly believe in the phrase "never ending improvement" through both my personal and business life.
