Kat Gardner

I began my real estate career in the Washington, D.C./Maryland area.  I purchased a villa on Hilton Head  Island in 1999 with the idea of having a vacation home that would also serve as a transition residence when I retired.  9-11 accelerated our plans and I moved to Hilton Head Island permanently in 2004.  It is the best decision I ever made!  The lifestyle here is everything I could ever want.  I am an outdoor person and I feel this is the perfect place to live!  After fours years on the island, the beauty that surrounds me still takes my breath away!

I am a Realtor, ABR (Accredited Buyers Agent), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), E-Pro and have been awarded an RSA (Realtor Service Award).  I have also served on the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtor board of Directors since 2005.  I am also active on several committees such as The Childrens Relief Fund and The United Way as well as committees in the real estate community that promote service among Realtors.

I have four children, two dogs and one husband. I also play golf. This combination qualifies me for the Patience Award!  I love introducing people to Hilton Head Island and the Lowcountry.  I love my job!  I feel so blessed to have a profession I love that allows me to meet interesting people from all over the world and practice my profession in such a beautiful environment.

I am always expanding my knowledge of the real estate market.  Whether it is learning about a new community or mastering a new piece of technology that allows me to be more efficient, I am always in search of "what is happening now"!
