About Me

I grew up in a small borough in Pennsylvania and lived 50 years within ten miles of my childhood home. I married my husband Brian 15 years ago. He is a career firefigher. We adopted our precious son in December 1999 when he was 6 months old. We vacationed at the beach every year and we often talked about living at or near the ocean. One day Brian said that Naval Station Norfolk was in his region and we could transfer. Well, that was all I needed to hear. I had nearly 20 years in at Union County Emergency Services as a 9-1-1 dispatcher/supervisor. We started the ball rolling and immediately after I retired, we were happily relocated in Elizabeth City, NC. I discovered that there really is life outside of my little safety zone. We have never regretted the move. I was only 50 years old at the time and not ready to "retire" so I got my real estate license. I love meeting new people. I love looking at homes. I love this job!
