About Me
My name is Jules B. Yates and I bring more than 20 years full time experience to Exit Realty Corporation. After 17 years as an independent broker I joined Exit Realty Paramount in October 2007. Although I list and sell Residential, Commercial and Vacant land, my passion is vacant land and land developments.
As the son of a real estate developer, I literallly grew up in the business. I has worked all over the state of Michigan
I has expertise in marketing, land divisions, site condominiums, conventional condominiums and new construction. I am a former Michigan general contractor, a former Michigan Real Estate Appraiser (Valuation specialist) and have a degree in Marketing and management. I have also served two 2 year terms as a member of the Traverse Area Association of Realtors MLS (Multiple Listing Service) Committee which oversees the operation and implementation of the MLS system.
Recently due to the current mortgage crisis, I have spent countless hours becoming an expert on Pre-Foreclosures, Foreclosures and "Short Sales". I have earned the National Association of Realtors ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) Designation. The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate BUYER'S AGENT Council (REBAC) of the National Association of REALTORS® who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.
Lastly I am an e-PRO REALTOR® who has successfully completed the e-PRO training program for real estate professionals. Endorsed by the National Association of REALTORS®, the e-PRO course teaches professionals the nuts and bolts of working with real estate on-line: Web sites, e-mail, on-line tools, and most of all, what today's consumer really wants.
