Joe Simpkins

Joe is a native Tennessean, but calls Charlotte home now after living here for 17 years. He was first licensed in the real estate business in 1974, and holds the Broker license in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

As a USAF pilot, Joe flew worldwide transport missions, and retired from the military after 21 years duty as a Lt Colonel and C-130 Aircraft Commander. Now he has concluding a 22 year career of commercial airline flying with US Airways after starting with Piedmont Airlines in the early 80s. Joe served as President of the Nashville Young Realty Group in Tennessee. He comes from a real estate family as both his parents were Realtors. Joe’s father served as the President of the Tennessee Farm and Land Institute, and regularly won awards for sales achievements.

Joe is a graduate of the National Association of Realtors advanced school for Realtors, and holds the designation of GRI, Graduate of Realtor Institute. He brings to Charlotte Residential Group experience in residential sales, mortgage lending, property development, commercial real property management, and has built over 22 single family homes in addition to commercial property remodeling.

He and Gina have one son, who with his wife serves in the ministry. They have blessed Joe and Gina with two wonderful grandsons. Joe and Gina are active members of Central Church of God in Charlotte.
