Jo Brown

A 40 resident of the Vail Valley, Colorado, I am considered almost a pioneer having come to the valley when it was 7 years into development as the #1 Ski Resort in North America. It has been a good ride.

I have been a licensed real estate salesperson and broker since 1972 and have ridden the ups and down of the market since. I have the Graduate Realtor Institute, Certified Residential Specialist,  and ePRO designations and am an education junkee.

I have been active in the Realtor organization since its inception in the valley, have served as President of the Vail Board of Realtors, Mountain District Vice-President of the Colorado Association of Realtors and for 20 years have served on the states Legislative Policy Committee and related boards and committees.

I was just honored with the presentation of the first Jo Brown Excellence Award "In Recognition of a Career of Dedication and Service" by the Vail Board of Realtors. This is a new award and I am doubly honored to lend it my name.

I am Anglican and serve as Secretary to the Board of the Eagle Valley Religious Foundation which is working diligently to build a third Interfaith Chapel in the Edwards Area. I also volunteer with the Vail Valley Medical Center Auxillary.

We raised our family in the valley and know it is one of the best places in the world to raise a family; no matter where they scatter, they always come home to the mountains and the Vail Valley.
