     Janet's career in real estate began in the 1970's when she began to purchase properties in California to renovate and restore for re-sale.  This added to her  building construction & renovation knowledge started by her father as a youngster.  

       She has served as a Planning Commissioner in her home county, Goochland, Virginia.  Janet has an indepth understanding of County ordinances and zoning.  She knows the questions to ask. 

      Goochland is one of the many neighboring counties of Virginia's capitol city, Richmond.  It is known for its rural character,  larger acreage homesites, horse farms and its southern 40 mile border on the James River.
